FYI: New message boards

Hey, in case you haven't been to the main board lately to see this announcement, they've opened three new boards: one for "lightweights" (BMI 40 or less), one for "heavyweights" (BMI over 50), and one for 20-somethings. Looks like they might start a "grad" board as well, for people over one year out (we're almost there!). The URLs for the new boards are here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/messageboard/postdetail/1395618.html?vc=0 Just thought I'd share this since I know there are people of all three categories here who are frustrated that they don't feel comfortable talking about their particular weight-range issues anywhere else. I don't fall into any of the three categories--guess I'm a 30-something "welterweight"! But if you have a whole lot still to lose, you might find some comfort and understanding companionship at the BMI over 50 board. And if you feel like the WLS world trivializes you because you "only" had about 100 or so pounds to lose, you'll find kinship at the Lightweights board. Even though none of these new boards are for me, I see the need for them and I thought it was very thoughtful of OH to set them up. Enjoy! ---- Leslie -112 (and stuck)

Okay, the "Grads" board is open now, too. It's for one year or more post-op, which we will all be reaching within the next four weeks or so (wow, the year has gone quickly!) Here's the URL if you want to lur****il your anniversary: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/member-interests/wls_grads/posts.html ---- Leslie -112
