Post your success...
It is GREAT to see everyone is doing so well!
Even with some post-op complications I feel Great (0n most days!)
I deffinately love wearing the size 8's! It is great to be back where I was when I got pregant with my son ( he is 26!)
I am just bearely 5 feet tall, My heighest was 212 ( mostly from steriods! YUCK!) Pre-surgey was 194, but that was before I had to take the steriods. On the day of surgery I was 202. ( a size 18/20) Ulcers and constrictuers have been the biggest problem for me. and I will have the 6th endo next week. Not sure what will happen if the ulcer is not healing. (and the pain says it is not!) I have not lost as fast as I would have liked and am down just 55 pounds.
I had to move so I have not seen my Surgeon for a while., but I get to see him in a few weeks, for my one year check up. His goal for me was 125 .... I still have about 20 pounds to go.
CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!

WOW!!! You look great and thanks so much for this fabulous post!!!!
My surgery was on 8/4/04. My pre surgery weight was 352. I now weigh 192 for a current weight loss of 160 pounds!!!!!
I have been very fortunate in that I have not had any complications and would have this surgery again tomorrow if necessary!!
I try to get my vitamins, protein, and water in...some days are better than others though. I have never once tried sugar as I do not even dare to know if I will dum*****t. I suck at excercise but am vowing to step it up as I want to lose about 15 more pounds to cover the "bounce back" that we all hear about... My original goal was to lose 150 pounds and to get down to 200 pounds. But once I was there, I thought I HAVE to get into the 100's and now I want to get to 176 so that I can say that I have lost 1/2 of my former self... Is that silly?????
Everyone who has replied to your post seems to be doing so wonderfully. I know that God MUST be smiling as He sees all of us doing so well and making the most out of this second chance that He has given to us!!
I wish all of you fellow Augusters the very best that life has to offer and may we never ever forget where we have come from and may we never ever return there again!!! AMEN.
Blessings,
Rachel T.
