Have any of you noticed a change in the texture of your hair? I lost about half of mine around the 6 month milestone. It is now growing back in, but the texture is not the same. All my life I have had thick wavy hair. Now it is fine and very frizzy with curls. I want my hair texture back. I can not deal with all this frizz. Did any of you have this? Out side of cutting it all off & starting over, are there any ideas? I'm afraid if I cut it off, it will be even curlier when it grows out. My stylist, (I love you Susan) tells me to quit my whining. She said I had to trade off something. I no long have that big ol' butt, so just deal with it. Hah. I know she's right of course. Thanks for the input.

Hi Melissa, My hair is just growing back in and Yes it is coming in courser than before. It was fine but very thick and very very straight, now it is coming in course and frizzy..... I wi**** was curly! I have been using Nixoin and it seems to be helping a LOT ! One thing I noticed is that if I do not blow dry my hair it will be frizzier. Maybe Susan can help you find a NEW style for your new head of hair, to go with that new BUTT!

Thanks slender. I needed that. How are things going other than your hair?

Hey Melissa, Yup, me too. Except my hair was always pretty straight for the most part... now I have this nasty frizz on the new growth... I'm hoping as it gets longer the weight of it will straighten it out! Keep up the good work! Lots of love, Dawn

I wondered if I let it grow out if the weight of it would help pull down the curl. Thanks for replying.

Ditto, me too! I used to have thicker wavy hair and over time, it thinned out anyway due to a thyroid issue, but I lost a bunch after my surgery and the hair coming in is definitly wiry, frizzy...doesn't want to lay on my head like normal hair, it likes to wave around and fly all over. It's a mess. I too hope if I can grow it out, that it will look better. Weird. LOL Tiffany

That's a great description. It just doesn't want to behave. It's like fly away frizzy.

I lost a lot of my hair, but it hasn't started growing back in yet. But I hope it does even if it is frizzy. There are a lot of products out there for frizzy hair. I think they would be at least worth a try. Also maybe it will get better as more grows in. Tammy

I can tell my hair is growing back in because I have pieces about 2 1/2 to 3 inches long in the back at my neckline. Can you pull your hair up in a ponytail? If so look at your neckline. I'd bet you'll see new growth. I hadn't really looked at products for frizz. I've never had to deal with it in my life. I guess it's worth checking into. Thanks.

Yes, I have noticed a big change in my hair. When it started coming back in, it was like "old lady" hair---like wire and very white. So, I color it regularly, and I have to use a lot of styling products and conditioner. My hairdresser can make my hair look fabulous with all her products and a straightening iron, but I can never, ever duplicate her efforts from my own home. But, I am just happy to have hair again---and especially happy it has stopped falling out. Oh, I do take my vitamins and calcium---but I don't get as much protein as I did right after surgery. Don't know if that makes any difference. ~Laura
