I live in Texas, and I actually used to work at Curves. Depending on what city you live in, you'll probably pay around $30 a month. That's with the automatic draft out of your account. If you do it that way, it comes out to about $360, but if you do prepay (which is where you pay for either 6 months or the entire year up front) there is generally a substancial discount. In case you are interested, 24 Hour Fitness also has some great deals on memberships. My husband and I are both current members there, and together pay about $50. Congratulations on your progress so far , and best of luck to you!

I've been a member at Curves for Women since 8 months PRIOR to my WLS. I lost about 15 pounds and several inches before surgery and felt really "in shape," so to speak, before heading in for the big operation. Since WLS last August, I have lost an additional 90 pounds, and my figure is that of my pre-wedding days. I'm wearing a size 10 in some things....and I only have 32 pounds left to reach my goal weight! When most folks ask what I've done to look so great, I just tell them I go to Curves....it's a great testimonial. Sure, the surgery helped a lot, but diet and exercise are the key from now on! Especially now that I can eat "normal sized" amounts again. (Good thing I can't over-eat!) Yes! I highly recommend Curves for Women, and you can have your $29/month fee taken directly from your checking account (one-year membership.) It's definitely worth it! ~Laura 286/192/160
