8/30 weekly progress

Hope everyone is doing great. I am ecstatic to report that my scale is no longer being a JERK and decided to move after 3weeks of nothing!!! Down to 141 now (yaaaaaaay!). Looking forward to hitting the 130's, and especially 138, which is my goal for 100% excess weight loss. Loss this week: 4lbs (finally!) Loss thus far: 114 please post your updates when you have a sec

I think what kick started my weight loss again was that I replaced my breakfast with a protein shake...8oz of low fat lactaid milk, some ice cubes and GNC whey protein (cookies and cream)...tastes pretty good, if anyone interested in the info. It was on special

Hey Norma, You're doing awesome! And thanks for the advice! I'm down to 150 lbs, that's a total loss of 107 pounds for me... not losing much nowadays, but then again I'm 8 weeks pregnant now so I'm just happy not to be gaining at this point! I'm in the healthy BMI and trying to keep focused so I don't gain much while pg. We'll see how that goes! Lots of love and keep up the good work! Dawn 257/150/140

I posted this on the main board in response to ChattyCathy's thread on blisters and exercize. I just had to brag a bit. The scale's moving verrrrrrrry slowly but my routine is good. ____________Saturday at 7:00am I did a 20 mi. ride on Katy Trail then came home & ate a protein bar for breakfast. As I got ready to cut the lawn, I thought........"this is just wrong!" Who'd have believed how my life has changed in the past 10 months? I would never have imagined how my mind and body would change. I was allergic to sweat and exercize. Best~barb 276/158/150/135

Hey Miss Thing! Things are going well for me although the weight loss has slowed I am still very happy with my progress. I am down a total of 114 lbs. weighing in at 142. My dream is to get to 120 but I would be happy just to have a normal BMI at 127. When I get to my goal of 140 I will change my goal, only 2 pounds to go! I am hoping to be in the 130s by month end (10 month anniversary), not sure if that will happen. You are doing great Norma and you look awesome! Keep up the good work! Hey Norma, Wanted to post my progress. I currently weigh 128 looking forward to hitting my personal goal of 125. Since surgery I've lost 101 pounds and I'm feeling great!!! Everything is GREAT I can't believe that it's almost a year. Thanks for posting this question. Peace and blessings, Marcy

I must be done. I have been on a 3 month platuea. I have still lost only 80 pounds. I joined a gym, cut back on calories and I still have not lost another oz. My scale weighs to the oz. I may have to face that this is it for me. But at least I lost 80 pounds, and and down several sizes. Tammy

Tammy-- Don't decrease your callories- I heard that makes it worse--increase your protien (drinks). That seemed to help for me. I too was on this platue thought I would be there but increased my protien - yogart cotage cheese- chicken, fish and callories. hope this helps it did me. Ruthy 148

Hi all you 8/30 babies!! It's been too long since I posted but I had to jump in. I am down 114lbs-I am at 160lbs (I am 5'9" tall). I have gone from size 24 to a 10 and my weight loss stopped about 7 weeks ago. I feel that I am at a good weight for my height and I feel awesome-no high blood pressure, no sleep apnea, I can walk up the stairs! Life is so good. Continued success to us all!!
