9months...wow...where has the time gone!? If we had been pregnant, we'd be bringing a baby home. My weight loss this week wasn't very good...Loss this week: none, actually gained +1 (the jury is still out, scale reads no loss one second, 1 lb gained the next...so, go figure) Loss thus far: -109 My next goal is to hit 140..which is 6lbs away...My goal then will be to ease down 5lbs down until I've found my "right" weight. My dream goal is 125-130, but from what I've heard, I may look sickly at that weight, and definitely don't want that!!!!! Adios everyone, norma. 255/146

We've recently babysat for our two grandsons(ages- 3 years and 12 months) for 4 days. Love 'em to pieces but there's a reason 50 year olds don't get pregnant!!! OMG, owe were so worn out. 'Haven't lost in a couple of weeks but I tend to drop in bunches. One thing I don't get, though I'm not complaining.........I'm 5'4" and weigh 164 lbs. That's a lot but I'm wearing a size 10 or a medium. When I was younger, I couldn't fit in a size 10 @ 145lbs. What's up with that? Have sizes changed? Best~barb 276/164.

No change for me in quite awhile. I am still at a lose of 80 pounds. I did join a gym this week and started going. So hoepfully that will help kick stat the weight loss again. Tammy

Hi there Sunny, I'm 5'6". Have you checked what your "normal/healthy" BMI range is for your height of 5'2'? and what the right weight for that is? For example, I'm 5'6" and a BMI of 18.5-24.9 is considered NORMAL. That means that I can be in the weight range of 115-154. For you being 5'2", 115-120 would be too low, wouldn't it be? You look great, but your profile pic does look like you're a bit on the "skinnier" side. No offense, ofcourse I bet none of us ever thought we'd be considered too skinny or petite our whole lives, but just gotta keep an eye on that. Based on my normal range BMI, I'm thinking I'd like to be my goal weight 125-130. Take care, Norma 255/146/130

Wow Guess I didn't realize it's been 9 months. I didn't lose near what yall lost but I am still very proud of my loss. I have lost a total of 86 pounds. For a few months I had only lost 1-2 lbs but just these past 2 weeks I dropped 15 pounds. I don't know if that's good or bad, but I won't complain. My goal is to get to about 172. But anything under 200 would be just fabulous. I've got a big frame and feel that that would be a good weight for me. great job everyone!!! 309/220/172

Hi Norma, I haven't been around in a few weeks, just busy. I finally broke 100 this week. I had been stuck at 99 lost for about 3 weeks. The scale finally moved this week. I had to have a gallbladder ultrasound last week and I will be having surgery on the 15th to remove it and the stones. A side effect I had hoped I wouldn't have. Aw well at least I have a great surgeon working on me. I'm glad that everyone is doing well. I hope we all continue to do so. I'll try to check in more often. Keep up the good work everyone. RNY on 08/30/04 Overall, I am doing extremely well!!!! Some weeks I might loss 9 lbs, some 6, some 3 and some weeks nothing! I go walking, start drinking more water or Crystal Light (84oz++) and it maximum my losing process again immediately. I don't do shakes anymore or drink milk or eat eggs because they make me sick... I'm feeling a little depressed sometimes... because I'm still heavy but happy- do't get me wrong.... I am very pleased... My hair loss has slow down some... Experiencing some pain in my left hand... Went down from a 32/34 (36 pant size) to a Large top (bought a 14/16 shirt and could wear it comfortably) and I now wear 18/20pants. 8/30/04 highest weight 395 6/14/05 weight now 244.5 Weight goal will be 156 (It takes time...)
