Falling off the wagon
I have been falling back into my old habits again. Snacking when I am bored, using food to medicate myself, etc. Luckily, I can't eat that much. I am eating more carbs and fat than protein. I want to get back on track, and I do fine at work during the day. I am just so stressed out when I get home from work that I immediately want carbs, or just a piece of chocolate.
Help!!!
Alicia
Hello... I understand what you are talking about... I have been getting the sweet cravings... I am selling my house, buying a new house and moving this weekend coming up so I am a bit stressed... plus we started a travel agent business and that is taking off too... and my regular job...
I need to get back on track really quick...

Hi Alicia,
I also felt I was falling off the old habits, and when i weighed myself and saw that I had gained 2lbs, I realized I had to do something asap! On the california OH board, we had a thing called a "habit" post group. You would choose 1 healthy thing that would be good for you and your weight loss and stick to it straight for 21 days. Once you do something every single day for 21 days, it becomes a part of you and now is a habit. The fact that it is a good habit is the catch. The habit can be drinking 60oz of water a day, taking all your meds, not drinking/eating a certain snack or food, not drinking while eating/meal, not munching on chips, not eating when bored, exercising daily *** not me..lol), or whatever you want it to be and just stick to it as much as you can. You may fall off after the first day into it, but it'll be something that you can try the next day and see how much farther you can go the next time. It's addressing the matter and trying as much as you can, even if we don't succeed right away. We all know that feeling too well. May sound silly, but I know that it helped in my exercise. I said I would walk 20mins a day as my habit and I did alright.
We just gotta catch ourselves and do something about it asap.
