Anyone have an exercise for flabby arms that is working??? I can camoflage the belly this summer, but the arms are literally hanging out there, and looking like sheets of crepe paper!!!!! I don't intend to wear sleeveless, but even short sleeves show too much! It'll be too hot for long sleeves, and I still need to lose about 40 lbs to my goal, so it'll get worse!

Tell me I inherited bat wings from my Moms side they all have them. I have always wore shirts that come down to my elbow. I just bought wrist wieghts going to start puting them on first thing in the mornings (another new habbit). If that doesn't help I am going just smile and just say I can live with this since the rest looks so Dam good. Saralan

I could fly like a kite in the sky with the amount of extra arm skin I have...... the worst part is I have stretch marks on the skin, too, that look REALLY HOT when I'm wearing short sleeves. A size medium shirt fits me just fine, except in the sleeves---ICK! I'm hoping with exercise and time the skin will get better, and if not, I'll definitely be seeing a plastic surgeon before too long! Lots of love, Dawn 257/154/140?

Hi Teri (waving my bat wings at you)! You can do arm exercises that will tighten the muscles in your arms and reduce the fat but the hanging skin from the lost fat is really not something you can exercise away, I'm sorry to say. It's a side effect of having the surgery that sooooooooooooooooooooooo many of us have to deal with if you had big arms pre-op. I personally hate mine but have decided that it is something I will have to live with since insurance doesn't cover that type of surgery and also because I hate the scars from that surgery even more. But everyone is different and one day you may opt to have that skin removed. Good luck to you. I've decided to get over it BIG TIME because after losing 141 pounds and counting, I'll be damned if I keep hiding. I will be in sleeveless tops and dresses this summer even with the batwings. Last summer, I had grandma arms, midriff rolls, two stomachs, and enough thighs to ignite a fire when rubbed together. Some loose skin is not going to deter me after finally being able to get in some nice summer clothes.
