My mother didn't recognize me!

I had a "WOW" moment today at lunch. I met my husband, sister-in-law, brother and mother for lunch at a local restaurant today. My mother walked in first, and looked all around for me....while I was standing just feet from the front door, staring right at her. When my sister-in-law and I spoke, as she followed my mother inside, that was when my mom realized who I was. She said, "I was looking everywhere for you....but I wasn't looking for someone who 'looked' like you!" I think she meant it as a compliment! Ha! Ha! I am having a few other "I didn't recognize you" moments with friends and others...but my own mother? I just saw her Sunday!
