8/3 - 9 months post op...
How are you all doing my fellow 8/3'ers? I'm doing really good. I'm down 108 lbs making my goal only 16 lbs away! I've gone from a size 26 to a 6/8 in jeans and from a 2x/3x shirt to a M. I'm feeling good...no real problems to mention except for old eating habits trying to creep their way back in. I can tolerate just about anything except for sugar. That stuff still seems to make me dump. I just came off of a 8 week plateau but now the scale is moving again so I'm happy. So...how are you all doing?

Hey there, 9 mos already.
I am down 85lbs. Losing slow but gaining great muscle tone.
Went from 24/26 in pants to a 14/16 regular not plus and a L/XL in tops. It all depends on the make. Feeling great. I also just got off a 3 week plateau again. Happens alot I have to change things up quite a bit.
Can't touch anything with brown sugar or maltitol. Other than that can eat about anything but have to chose wisely now.

Hi Kristy!
I'm 9 months out also! I am down 95 lbs. and I have gone from a tight size 24 to a wonderful size 14 in pants and 3X in shirts to a M in shirts!
I feel wonderful, and just like you, I have to watch those old bad habits...which are creeping back in! I can tolerate a little sugar.......but I am doing well not to give in...a little..........I have been on a plateau but my weight is starting to inch back down.
I am excersizing more than ever. Got to get back on the bandwagon, again!
Have a great day, and keep up the good work!

Hi 8/3'ers, I have lost 117 pounds! Woo hoo....down from 2x-3x to a L/Xl in shirts and a 22 pants to 14-16, L pants. It would be much smaller if I could just afford a tummy tuck! I am having trouble with old eating habits as well, which scares me to death. I can tolerate most anything, except that I don't eat sugar.....too scared to try! The scale moves slowly but steadily so I have no complaints!

Happy 9 months! I can't believe it was that long ago in some ways, but in others I feel like I never even had it!!!
I'm doing well. I seem to have fallen off the exercise wheel, but I know I'll get back up on it soon... I've been having trouble with ENERGY... Part of it I know is because I wasn't getting in nearly enough protein in the last month or so, but I'm back on track there. I feel like I could sleep for a year no matter what time of day.
I have 16 more days until I graduate from college, so of course that's my big focus right now- making it through the next couple of weeks, then I'll be able to focus more on my body.
I have lost 100 pounds, wearing a roomy (not quite loose yet) size 10 pants, medium tops... I used to wear 2X-3X. I'm 17 pounds from the goal I want to hit before plastic surgery (unless we decide to have another baby... not sure yet about that, totally scared to gain weight!). I figure plastic surgery will take off another 10-15 pounds putting me right where I'd want to be... around 130 (I'm 5'6").
I can eat anything I want, but mostly the only thing I cheat with is some crackers or baked chips... sometimes I'll eat some trail mix stuff (without the m&m's). I've been really going through a salt craving thing lately.
Would love for the scale to get moving again... it took me forever to hit the century mark, and now it won't move again- I think it's been 2+ weeks so far. I need to get more exercise and drink more water (yet again!).
Glad you're all doing so well!!!! Keep up the good work and the positive attitude!
Lots of love,
Dawn

Hi, Great job guys. I'm almost nine months out. I've lost 102 pounbs, but have gained and lost four. From me eatting too many peanut butter crackers. I've gone from a 48ddd bra to a 38DD. I use to wear 30/32's and now I'm into 16's and 14's (if it's a good day!!!). I'm on all clears this week to give my tummy a rest and just to start fresh. We'll any tips about things to eat will help

I am doing great. Have lost 81 pounds so far, and am only a scant few pounds away from being under 200 pounds! I continue to work out regularly and I am seeing terrific results!
Loose skin continues to be an issue with me, but I am targeting the problem spots and the extra exercise seems to help with the muscle tone and skin elasticity. Any way you slice it, I look better and feel 10 times better than before WLS.
Before surgery, I was wearing size 28/30's or 3X/4X. Now, I am wearing anything between 14 and 20, depending on the cut, and L/XL, again....depending on the cut. Oh! I can wear some things in Medium too! That's a hoot!
My shoe size has dropped from 11 to 9 1/2. That's been the biggest surprise of all!
Good luck to you!

Hey Kristy,
I'm a 8/3 er also. I have lost 120 pounds. I have went from 364 to 244. I have went from men's 9XL shirt to regular 3x t-shirt. from 6xl pants from lane bryant to size 20w at walmart.
I have only lost a pound a week for the last month so I think I'm about to hit one of those plateau's everyone talks about.
doing great - having no problems.
life is wonderful.
