I am now sitting at exactly my minimal weight of 105lbs. I have lost 103 lbs in 8 months. I am afraid I will continue to lose. I just had my gallbladder out a few weeks ago. Am I the only one feeling this way? Stephanie

Hi Steph, I know what you mean. I am not at risk of that yet, but I was also a "lightweight" (every time I write that word I laugh...some lightweight I was! LOL) going in, so the possibility of us losing too much is quite real. I have lost 101 lbs in eight months. I am currently at 131 lbs and am 5'3. I want to reach 128 but my dietcian wants me to stop now. However, I think I have dropped more since I saw her last week, in fact I am certain. What she told me to do to maintain, is to increase your carbs and fats. She said a little butter on toast, adding nuts to my diet, making sure I get a starch in at every meal (eat it last), etc. She said we would go from there...re-evaluate as necessary. Of course, you should talk to your own dietican or surgeon, as every plan is different and I certainly don't want to give you advice that would be harmful. You must be so tiny!!! How tall are you? Are you still losing rapidly or has it slowed down? Hugs, Denise

Wow wtg on your loss. I am only 5'0. Doc told me at 115 that he wanted me to try and stay there. I have been doing everything to stop losing but it seems the more of something I shouldn't eat or the more I eat the more I lose. I have lost about 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. Its usually 2lbs every week or so. Good luck losing those last few pounds. Stephanie

A friend of mine is at her goal weight and her doc suggested she drink with her meals, as she did before, to maintain her weight.

Hey Steph, I suggest you talk to your Dr. Although, I truly believe your body will stablize when it gets to where it should be. Good luck.
