8/16ers are 36 weeks out
Hey, we are 9 months out. How's everybody doing and feeling? As for me, I feel great. All my health issues are gone. Did you hear me, they are gone? No more high blood pressure, no more acid reflux, no more asthma, no more pain in my knees. This is a wonderful tool and I pray I will be able to maintain for the rest of my life. It isn't easy but, I owe it to myself. I'm on a major plateau. I haven't seen a lose since the 5th of this month. I'm not complaining because I appreciate what the Lord has done for me thus far but, I would like to see a little movement on that scale. Could it be possible to stop losing at 9 months? Give me some feedback and Happy Losing.
Hey Leslie,
That's awesome your health problems are gone... isn't this surgery just AMAZING??????? Sometimes I forget I've even had it!
Don't worry about your plateau (too much, I know it's impossible not to), we've all been on one. My Dr. said most people continue to lose for the first 18 months after surgery, even if it slows down significantly.
So just keep it up and maybe start journaling what you eat in a day... at the end of the day you can look up the # calories on www.fitday.com and see if maybe you're getting too much or too little. Or maybe there's some foods you're eating that's triggering the plateau? I know I went through a salty thing a couple of weeks ago and GAINED weight! Like that's not scarier than life itself!
Keep on working it, you'll end up losing in the end!
Lots of love,
Dawn
