Hey there, I felt I really needed to post here. I have only lost 5 lbs in 7 1/2 weeks. I exercise 6 days a week and I do feel great and went from 26W to a 14/16 regular. I am still 40lbs from goal I thought it would come off easier with the exercise unfortunatly it is showing me how bad I need a tummy tuck. I have to watch my carbs like crazy and make sure I output more than I input. Somedays I feel like I can really put away the food. But nothing like it used to be. I am down 81lbs and look like a whole different person. It is a struggle though to make it come off now. But I just keep plugging away and try to weigh only twice a week. I noticed you were a lightweight when you had the surgery at 240- I was told anyone under 300 will lose slower. Guess they were right. Oh well I feel great now and will try harder. Good luck to all. I know what you mean about plateaus . I have had quit a few . One thing if you are excersising as much as you said you are also building up muscle mass which is a good thing. But the muscle does weigh more than fat . So anyway that could be where you don't seem to be taking pounds off as fast lately but you clothes size show you are down SO that is a good thing and i also was told the tape measure is your friend inches are more important than the scales.Even know we cann't get past the scales, i know i am at fault of that big time i weigh every day habit bad one. But in a way it keeps me good to. If i put on a pound or two then i think about what i did the day before and do better .I have a bad problem with water retention doctor says it is a circulation problem mostly because of a lot of joint replacements .So i should watch my salt in take witch i do most of the time but there are the days i feel salt oh i need salt. Crazy mind anyway. I started out size 26 womans now i can get into 12 to 14 depending the maker. It took me till now from Aug.31 2004 till today april 28 2005 to finnaly get below 200 i got to 199 YIPPIE YEAH so excited havn't seen that number in 20 years. But i thought i would of had it off last week with all the different excersises i did but it took a week to get that pound off but it went never to see it again ! Well don't get discouraged just remember it is for good and your probably looking the best you have looked in years and it is only going to get better ! Vicki
