Hey everyone! I didn't realize there was an August reunion message board. Now that I've found you guys, I hope to be a frequent guest!! Is anyone else already planning how to manage to get the Insurance to pay for a TT? I am BSBS of Florida, one of the ones who has quit covering the Bariatric surgeries as of Jan05, so I'm guessing they are going to give me major trouble in covering the Tummy Tuck. I have heard they still cover the breast reduction , IF it's a reduction, not a lift. But the rumor I've heard is that they will absolutely NOT cover the TT. Has anyone heard of anything different? Thanks! Christine ('Stine) 08/26/04, 325-94=231 Yeah!!

Hi Stine I can't answer any questions about the PS cause it's going to be a while before I get there. I just wanted to say hi and welcome to the August Babies Board! Shelley -134

Hey 'Stine, I'm also BCBS (of Cali), but I don't know about the TT. If you find out, please let me know... I kind of doubt it since they're not too sensitive to our needs anyways. Let us know if you find out, and WELCOME ABOARD! Lots of Love, Dawn 257/158/130 08/03/04

Welcome, Stine! This is the best group of people, always supportive and super nice. You'll like it here. 'Can't address BS/BS question. I have BC/BS Alliance of MO. but they haven't been of much help. I was a self pay for the RNY. I doubt if they'd cover any plastics if they won't do the bariatric surgery. Good luck in your quest & take care. Barb
