HI all, I am just wondering at this point out what or how much are you eating? I can eat (at one sitting/per meal): 2 fried eggs. a whole sandwich. A whole power crunch bar. 4 oz of chicken breast. 1 cup strawberries. an egg McMuffin, losing 1/2 the muffin. 1 muffin if I put nothing on it. 1/4 of a subway sub. Lots of other things that are escaping me right now. What are you eating???? Karin

Karin: It sounds like you can eat about the same amount at one time as I can. Tammy

Hi Karin, I can eat the following for a meal: a whole protein bar; 1/2 a serving of Keto (high protein, low carb hot cereal; 6 or 7 crackers and an oz. of cheese; 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, 2 slices of canned peaches and 5 crackers; a whole container of yogurt; an ounce or two of chicken or meat, a TBSP of sweet potatoes, and a bite of veggies; 3/4 of a low carb, high protein muffin. Sometimes I worry that I can eat too much at one time. I eat often, too. I eat about every 2-3 hours. (My surgeon says to eat 6 times a day and I eat 5-6 times a day.) I had my surgery Aug 2nd and I started with at 355 and a BMI of 59. I have lost 138 pounds and I have a BMI of about 35. Polly

Karin, I feel like I can eat WAY too much. My weight has stalled out again, but if I don't eat what I eat, I get the munchies, and I'm starving!!! This is a typical day of meals for me: BF - Protein shake or bowl of high protein cereal with milk (usually about 3/4 cup of cereal) or 1 egg w/cheese and 1 slice toast Snack - slice of toast w/1 oz. of melted cheese or a protein bar (a whole one) or 1 cup of chicken noodle soup or something similar (if I don't eat BF I'll eat 2 cups of soup) Lunch - sandwhich w/2 slices of low calorie bread, 2 oz. of turkey/chicken/or ham, 1 oz. of low fat cheese and a small 1 serving bag of ff potato chips OR 1/2 flatbread w/2 oz. of meat/1 oz. cheese Snack - protein shake or protein bar or finish the soup from morning snack Dinner - 2-3 oz. of chicken/turkey/ground beef, etc. 1/2 small baked potato, or 1 extremely small baked potato, 1/2 cup vegetables Plus I drink lots and lots and lots of water....usually about 120 oz. a day. I stay within my calories/fat/protein grams everyday, but I feel like I'm eating too much, and that is why my weight has stalled once again. I hit 103 lbs. about 2 weeks ago, now I'm back at 98 lbs. This is so frustrating to me! What am I doing wrong??? JUDY

That is about what I am eating. To break my stall I stopped eating my carbs. When I took away my sandwhiches and lowered my carbs to below 30 grms a day I started loosing again. I went back to the basics of first out and did all meat and cheese and high protien. That broke my plateau. That is what worked for me. I want to reach goal really bad! I need to be low carb til I hit it then I know I can add them back to maintain. Karin

Judy-- Sounds like we eat about the same amounts. I stalled for a couple of months, but now the weight loss has really picked up again! I eat more salads for lunches (with chicken and cheese in it for protein), and I started exercising again. Hope this helps. Good luck, Sweetie! *~Amber~*

Hi Karin: Just have to say: Damn, girl, you are eating a whole lotta FOOD! Even before surgery I never ate more than 2 fried eggs, a whole sandwich, a whole power crunch bar, 4 oz of chicken breast, 1 cup strawberries, and an egg McMuffin in one sitting! Just made me chuckle this morning - you really sound right on the same track as me.
