New to this site

Well i had finally found the site Dr. Hunter told me about it way before surgery but being as computor savey as i am i couldn't find it . So anyway i am 6 months out and feeling wonderful when i left the hospital i weighed 327 i gained 20 lbs when i ask the nurse that weighed me wasn't i supose to be loosing he just looked at me and walked out so i was scarred not knowing what was going on.But anyway i lost it and more now so i am happy. But i wished i would of known this group then for the support locally.There are times i get worried wondering am i gonna loose any more weight because i seem to stay one weight for a while then i will drop a couple pounds. I am down to 204 hope to make it to 150 at least.Well hope to here from you . Vicki

Welcome, Vicki! Glad to know you finally found us! Many of us are doing very well since our August 2004 surgeries. However, some of us are also on long plateaus. Everyone has a different story, so I suggest you just read some of our previous posts and click on the names to read our "journey stories." "Talk" with you later. ~Laura

Welcome to the site and the August baby board! Its great always to hear what others are doing or stalling out at as well. Its a bumpy wild ride on and its not over yet.CONGRATS

Yes it would be fun to meet some time and share our stories .So do you sometimes get worried that oh know i havn't lost a pound for a couple weeks? I know i have to get into a scheduled excersise plan like maybe starting tomarrow instead of getting on the putor first i will get up and excersise first.Hmmm ! Because what i do now is wait till the last part of the day and sometimes i find my self to tired from everything i did in the day but nothing to get my heart rate going steady like excersising for 30 minutes straight. So what are you doing to help your self?It is scarry cause you keep thinking what if it is like all the other times. Well glad to here from you Vicki
