Well, Personally I think I suck!!!!! I have not lost but a pound, yes only one pound in (its been so long I can't even remember) about 7 weeks. What the heck? And to top that off I have only lost 78 lbs!! Everyone else is 100 or more I haven't even made 80lbs. This is when I started to work out with weights. I know I added muscle. I can see the difference in the toning of muscles but the weight loss stopped. I drink all my water. I keep track on fitday. I've had some bread but not a lot. I haven't done anything that should have made the weight loss stop. Do you think this is it for me??????? karin

Karin I have many friends who have had the surgery and are at the same point. I wouldn't fret everbody's body is different all they all react differently. You've done good and I'm sure you look and feel better, they weight will come with time! I was very heavy to start so as I'm told we lose more weight quicker, plus I had the Sapala-Wood micropouch which means a normal RNY pouch is the size of a lemon, mine is the size of a grape. Maybe that has something to do with it. Actually I can say I know it does because friends who have had the surgery by another DR. who doesn't perform the micropouch haven't lost as much as I. I am very fortunate to have lost all my weight in under a year its not common, but I guess my body was in such bad shape it jumped at the chance to feel better. Plus I followed the strict dietary guidlines to a T. I still to this day have had no reifned sugars, pop, bread, pasta, or rice! Also since my pouch is so small I don't handle meat very well, so I am mainly a vegetartian and take alot of supplements. If there is any advice I can give you please let me know! Take care and we are all behind you!

Karin - I've lost 77 lbs myself and use fitday also. I'm still proud of the weight I've lost. Can you think of any other way you could lose this much weight in such a short period of time. Hang in there girl! I hit a plateau about2 months ago and didn't really lose for a month. I also work out daily alternating weights with aerobic exercises. I'm back now to losing between 1.5 to 2 lbs per week. Let's here it for us slow but steady losers!!!!!!

Hey there, I wanted to put my stats in here as well. I am 8mos out as of today and have lost 80lbs. I started at 281 and it seems like it has taken forever to lose those pounds but I have been working out like crazy. I take a salsaexercise class on Mondays, and walk 2 miles a day plus weights and eliptical. I stalled out big time when I started all this but increased my protien and water and the weight is starting to come off again. My inches have gone down. I must measure when the weight doesn't come off so I know I am still going in the right direction. I am proud of myself for changing my lifestyle habits.. I have 50 to go for my personal goal and 30 for the dr. I am enjoying every day of it. Keep up the great work everyone. Cheri
