Stalled out!!!!

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone else seems to stall out for a while. I have lost 195 pounds so far but seem to have slowed or even stopped losing weight. My surgeon says my protein level was a little low do you think that has anything to do with it? Hope everyone is doing well. Talk to you soon Bill

Hey Bill, First of all-- WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how well you've done- I'm sooooooooo jealous! Did you say you've lost 195 lbs?????? Holy S*IT that's a lot!!!! Uh, yeah, I think your body may just be trying to catch up... I've lost 92 pounds and 94 pounds and keep fluctuating between the 2 weights (165 and 163 pounds). It's frustrating as heck. I know everyone here always says to increase protein, water, and exercise and see if that pushes you over your plateau... it seems to help, according to the old timers on the main board. Give it a try and let us know how it goes... Keep up the good work!! Dawn

Low protein can definitely stall you out. I was up and down the same 5-10 lbs, then decided maybe I should increase my protein, since I wasn't getting nearly enough, I'm finally dropping lbs. again and only have about 1/2 a pound to get where I was a couple of weeks ago. Protein can DEFINITELY do it! (that plus I started taking my water pill again). Good Luck! JUDY 359/261/185? -98 lbs.
