I don't officially weigh in for another week at my dieticians office, so I have been weighing on my home scale. It appears that my home scale is exactly four pounds low, because the last time I officially weighed in at my dietician's, I weighed myself on my home scale first and my dietician's was 4 lbs higher. LOL...with that said... My scale now reads 138 lbs. That means, if my philosophy is right, I really weigh 142 lbs. Based on this, here are my stats: 1. What was your beginning pre-op weight....232 lbs (day of surgery) 2. What is your Goal Weight..... 128 lbs 3. What is your current Weight lost....90 lbs since surgery 4. Total Weight to loss (#1 - #2)....104 lbs 5. Percentage of weight lost (#3/#4)...86% Did I do this right?? Congrats to everyone on their acheivements!! Hugs, Denise

1. Beginning weight: 282 2. Goal weight: 135 (mid-high of my "ideal" range) 3. Lost so far: 97 4. Total to lose: 147 5. Percentage lost: 66% I believe the national average for the percentage of total excess weight lost after RNY surgery is around 70%. That's probably after the "bounce-back," though, and probably based on medically "ideal" weight ranges as well. If I'm right, then anyone who has lost more than 70% of their excess weight has already exceeded average expectations for this surgery! ---- Leslie 282/185/135 (97 down, 50 to go! )
