It's been a long time since I read any posts by one of us 8/2 er's. I just wanted to see how you are all doing. I am feeling great! I started out with a high BMI of about 60 and it is now 37. I've lost 127 pounds and about 70 inches. I started out at 355 and now weigh 227. I have 75-85 pounds left to go. I sometimes worry about eating too much. It has gotten so much easier to eat, lately. I can eat a whole protein bar, or a yogurt and a piece of cheese at the same meal. My weight loss has slowed, but keeps going. How are you doing??

Hi Polly, I had surgery on 8/3/04 and I am feeling great. I started out at 296 and now weigh 184, -112 lbs. I need to lose 24 more pounds to get to goal. I worry about eating too much also. It seems like some times I can eat a lot! But then other times, my pouch reminds me that I cannot! Carbs are my weakness too! I do not eat sugar, but some days eat too many carbs! I still lose a pound a week sometimes two, but I feel great! Susan

Hello Ladies I am writing to ask if I may join in on this group as my date is also 8/2/04? I two had a very high BMI 66 and weighed I shudder to say this 412 lbs. but am happy to tell you that I am down 130lbs. as of last Thursday.I still have 110lbs to go to get to my goal of 175. I also think that I eat tooo much especially carbs . My weight loss has slowed but I have not reached a plateau yet . I hope that I can join here because I think that this a great idea. Mary C.
