Well I was wondering if any of ya'll have done something since youve lost weight that you wouldn't have done before. I set a goal that I wanted a tatoo when I lost 100 lbs. Well today Im going to get it. I have never had one before and have always wanted one. LOL, Katie 301/195/156

Hi Katie, that is so cool. I just want a new wardrobe. I do have a question...where will the tattoo be, and is the skin taunt enough with losing all that weight? Have a great day

I went to Magic Mountain for the first time and went on almost all the rides at about 50 lbs down. It was facinating. Good luck on your tatoo!

Weeeelllll, It's not as crazy as getting a tatoo, but I had my hair styled and high-lighted at my 50 pound goal. I wouldn't have done it before because I couldn't have cared less what I looked like. I figured if the rest of me is starting to look so great, why not my hair? I'm trying to find something really cool to do for 100, I only have about 25 more to go! Any other cool ideas (besides tatoos! I'm a wimp!) would be great! Becca 389/312/170

Hi Katie I done the tatoo thing almost 2 years ago ( a little Winnie the Pooh on my right shoulder blade) Bearing this in mind (no pun intended) at a New Year Party I wore a strapless bra with a shoestring top. This showed of my tatoo just lovely. Certainly would not have worn this style of top before WLS. I need to think on a treat for myself when i get to the century club. Jackie -8olbs From Scotland

Good luck getting to your goal...and then getting that much-wanted tattoo when you lose 100 pounds! Tattoos really aren't my "thing," but I was thinking that after I lose 100 pounds (post-op pounds, since I've already lost 100 pounds from my top weight), I want to go to a spa and have a two-hour full-body massage. That just sounds decadent to me! Hedonistic, my husband would say....but he sure would support my wanting to do it. He's been a great support to me in the last 6 months, and I appreciate him all the time. I bought a bright red swimsuit for summer. It fits now, but it will look even better when I lose a little more by summertime. My son (age 9) said (when I modeled it the other day), it looks very "appealing." I think he meant to say "revealing," but we all got a kick out of it. Later, my husband said it was very "appealing," but he was raising his eyebrows when he said it! I've been having fun with the weight loss. Most people are very complimentary when they see me. Some don't even recognize me at all! I have some favorite clothes that I haven't been able to "part" with yet, but they're just about to find a special home or two.....I've donated 99 percent of my former wardrobe so far, and I'm in a mid-range wardrobe right now, thanks to my mother who is the same size I am now. But, when I lose another 30 pounds, I'll be out of most of these clothes, and summertime will be here. I'll have to go shopping! Guess I'll do that full body massage and a major summer wardrobe shopping trip TOGETHER! Sounds like fun! Hope you have "fun" getting that tattoo! ~Laura
