Aagh! The Cookies Are Here!

Oh no! My 8-year old daughter is a Brownie Girl Scout, and the troop cookies arrived today! What am I going to do? Pre-surgery, I would eat a whole box in two days----by myself! But, now since I don't want to "dump," I didn't buy any of my old favorites for myself. However, I did get a couple of boxes for my kids, and then....I tried one of each. Oh, the Lemon Cooler cookies were just so good......I almost had to slap my own hands to keep them out of the box! Aagh! Anyone else out there have trouble staying away from sweets? In small quantities, they don't bother me, but I normally don't include them in my diet. I tend to keep fresh fruit around the house these days and substitue that for dessert. I am excited for my daughter's cookie sales----and I will continue to support her----but it's going to be a long 4 weeks! (sigh) Wish me luck! ~Laura

HI Laura Just stick about 100 or so of these little suckers all over the box and just maybe it will put you off. Best of luck Jackie RNY 8/18/04 270/191/140

Yup I'm in a similar situation my job has kids in the girl scouts and of course they come to us all for support... and I used to love the caramel delights, so I ordered a box of those and a box of mints they both are for my children I may try one but I dont do well with sweets so I probab;y will bite chew and spit out a half... no but seriously it works, kills the cravings and you dont dump because your not swallowing...Good luck Lisa

You poor women, girl scout tag a longs, I don't even want to see them from a mile away, much less in my house A lady in my area actually makes biscotti's with whey protein and splenda in them. I buy them by the dozen and still have to watch myself with them. Good luck Karen
