Hello! Happy 6 mo anniversary! I'm slow also, but steady! I started at 253 - 230 at surgery - I'm at 175 now and feel great! Need to get to 150, and I'll do it too! Blessings, Jill

six months already! Hard to believe it has gone by so quickly! I have joined the century club, -107 and 29 more to go until goal. But those are not going as quickly! Most food is not a problem, I have not tried sugar- that is a trigger food for me, so I am hoping when I break down and do try it that it will make me SICK! I have not been below 200 pounds in over 15 years and am loving it! I have developed a new addiction-SHOPPING! I am hoping this will help me keep the weight off! Keep up the good work! Susie

Congratulations everyone. I'm not close to the Century Club either but I'm feeling great and thrilled to be less than 200 lbs for the first time in many, many years. I'm down 78 lbs with about 40 more to go. My ability to eat more things means I'm having to work harder. I guess that now is when the real work begins. I wish I loved exercise but I really don't. Hope that when Spring gets here, I'll be better about "fun" exercise. It's still embarrasing to get all the compliments but it gets easier every day. Good luck everyone and let's keep up the good work.

I'm feeling really great at almost 6 months post-op! I can finally wear SOMETHING at Victoria's Secrets (besides the perfume!) I got a new swimsuit through mail order this week and modeled it for my family. I am actually looking forward to swimsuit season....maybe for the first time ever in my life! I also got a very sexy cover-up to wear over the swimsuit. My husband said it looked "hot." (Hummm.....) I bought a pair of jeans to "get in" in the next month or so. I usually don't do that, but it's nice to have a pair of real "goal jeans" hanging in the closet. When I get into them, I'll go out and buy a cool new belt to wear with them, and I'll finally------finally be able to tuck my shirts in again! I'm just feeling great! Still only lost about 70 pounds, and I have a lot more to go, but everything is wonderful! ~Laura

Wow........... I can't believe it has actually been 6 months already!!! Congratulations on your weightloss Bronda, you're doing great!! I'm now down -81 pounds!! I was stuck at -79 for awhile, but finally yesterday (our surgery anniversary) the scale moved down a pound, putting me at -80 right on my 6 month anniversary! THIS time, instead of celebrating by stuffing my face with chocolate or something, I went out and bought a new sexy black dress to wear to a Valentine's day wedding of my cousin!! It was a Large, and I must admit I had to buy a body shaper thing for underneath since I have so much extra belly skin wobbling around, but it looks awesome!!!! Plus, when I went into the stores and grabbed a size 12, everything fit!!!!!! That's down from a size 24 (tight)!!! YAY!! Anyways, I'm glad to see you're all doing well... keep up the good work! For those of us not quite yet to the century mark, I'm sure we'll surpass our expectations within the next 6 months!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Dawn

My 6 month anniversary is in a week. Already I am down 111 lbs. I have alot more to loose though too to reach goal. Already I am feeling stronger and healthier and more in control than ever before ! I discovered I could tolerate sugar without dumping and it scared me to death. I went back to the basics and am back on track again doing well.

My 6 mo anniversary will be on the 11th. I am down 130 pounds. THRILLED with the results. I can't wait to excersise every day! My wife also had Lap RNY on 12-17-04. Glad we are on the "same page". Lots of water, walking, excersising and buying new clothes. Let me know if anyone isinterested in a 58" waist mens suit because it's for sale! I'm going for 200 lbs in 12 months! PHIL

Wow...you all are doing so well! I'm doing good for 6 months. Sugar and I are moral enemys...I discovered this when I dumped on a piece of cantaloupe! So I avoid sugar as much as possible. Popcorn has been my "bad" food...I can eat it like no tomorrow...and it stopped my weight loss. So..my new goal is to not eat popcorn but on select occasions! I did join the century club at exactly 100 lbs! I had my doc's visit today and all my lab work came back "perfect" I couldn't be happier! I did change my goal weight. It originally was 140 lbs...but seeing as now that's only 14 lbs away...I officially changed it to 130 lbs which is right in the middle of my weight range for my height (5'3"). My drivers license expires this year...so I'm excited about taking a new picture for my license! I get the strangest looks when I get asked for my ID now...because it looks nothing like me! Keep up the good work everyone! Kristy 254/154/130 - new goal weight!!
