It's my turn for a slow month. I weighed this morning and am at 216.5 lbs., which means I have lost 89.5 lbs. I had a WOW moment this weekend - My hubby and I are members of the Moose Lodge, and we have a formal ball to go to this weekend at the Moose. I went shopping for a new formal dress. When I stepped in front of the mirrors and saw what I looked like - I said WOW!!! Is that really me? My hubby just grinned from ear to ear and said "Now that's what I'm talking about." My son was over last night and I put it on for him and he said "Damn, Mom, you are hot." His fiance said something about a song by Tim McGraw called One Hot Momma or something like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My 16 year old daughter wants to go buy her the same dress for her to wear to prom. And my 12 year old is the one who picked it out. Have a good week!!!!!!!!!!!! Cyndi 306 / 216.5

I too am obessed with going potty, did it alot b4 surgery ,so it freaks me out when I don't go now. And then I think oh if I go maybe the damn scale will move.

Hi all. I am at 123lbs and am actually trying not to lose anymore. Doc said I can't go under 105. Never thought I would be worried about losing too much. So now I have lost a total of 85lbs. Good luck to you all. Stephanie

Hi everyone Judy (((HUGS))) & go ahead and scream it will make you feel better. You are doing great you've passed me up so keep up the protein/water. I had a good week and lost 6 lbs I jumped on the protein train again that I do on the BAF board last week and it really made a difference. Ladies to keep regular I put Benefiber in my crystal light every other night & drink a glass right before I go to bed it works for me. Continued success everyone from the slowest loser in the 8/16ers. Jackie down -69 263/194/135

Thanks Jackie...I have felt like screaming. It has been driving me nuts. Just one day of Protein and water had made a difference already, I was down 4.6 lbs. this morning from my weight yesterday morning. I'm going to continue the same treck today as much as I can. I was very sick last night, and almost went to the emergency room. I was doubled over in pain, and thought something must be seriously wrong. The surgeon told me to give it 6 or 7 hours to see if it passes, and if it didn't I was to go to the hospital. I took a Tylenol 3, so it helped with the pain and I was able to fall asleep. I actually did end up vomiting, and it was a terrible wretching type, and I'm hoping that was all I needed to do. The pain is still here this morning, but not nearly as bad, and I'm guessing it is because of the forceful nature of vomiting. When I drank my protein shake this morning it really didn't feel so nice. I've been able to drink hot decaf tea with no pain, and crystal light with no pain. I'm afraid to have another shake. I might try to get some chicken broth for lunch today. Anyway...that was my night in a nutshell....hopefully I will be able to get down below 275 by Monday. JUDY 359/276.8/167? -82.2

Judy - that is horrible - I'm so sorry you had such a rough night. I'm glad you are feeling somewhat better today - try to take it easy - and if that pain comes back - PLEASE go to the ER - it doesn't sound good at all! ((((((hugs!!!)))))) Aimée

Aimée, I spoke with my surgeon last night. He told me to wait the pain out a total of 6 hours, because it might be a digestion issue. He told me to sip on some hot decaf tea, which I did. After a couple of sips I all of a sudden started to dry heave and then had this awful wrenching vomitting, which nothing came up but phlegm. I talk a tylenol 3 and it pretty much knocked the pain out, and me out. This morning when I woke up it still bothered me a little bit, but it wasn't nearly as bad. I'm wondering if the problems I'm experiencing today is from the awful wrenching I did. My pouchy is definitely sensitive today. I tried some raisins a little while ago (I know, not a good choice) and that didn't work out so well. I can tell you this....I'm EXHAUSTED! I'm wondering if it is from a lack of protein today. I have had 1 protein shake, 1 stick of string cheese, 1 protein bar (lower in protein then most), and 1 Soup at Hand - chicken and stars. I think my protein is somewhere around 35 or 40. All I know is I want to crawl in a hole and fall asleep for days right now. JUDY
