My Five Month OFFICIAL Weigh In
Hi everyone!
I went to see my dietician today and got my official weight. I am happy to say that I now weigh 156 lbs! That is a 76 pound loss since the day of surgery on August 11, 2004!! The other day, I posted that I weighed 155 lbs, as this is what my scale said. I don't consider the weight on my scale accurate, as I indicated on my post, but it was pretty close!
In January 2004, I weighed in at 268 lbs. In one year, I have lost 112 lbs. WOW!! Can you believe that? I never thought I could do it!
I am so happy with my results. I feel like a new person. Knowing that I only have 26 pounds or so to lose to get to goal is mind blowing!
I am currently in a size 12, but can fit into some size 10's! It is an incredible feeling. The day of surgery, I was wearing size 22 and some 24's. Dropping that many sizes is just incredible. Talk about cloud nine!

Congratulations!! I have my 6 month in Feb (doc doesn't do a 5 month), so I am hoping to be in the 150s by then.
It is so strange to actually look like everyone else and not stand out as the "fat girl" anymore.
The decision to have this surgery was a good one for me, and it looks like it was the right one for you, too.
