8/16's 5 month and 22 week check-in
I dont post very often, just seems like I read everyones post then I have to move around to do something for someone..lol
I have lost 80 pounds as of Sunday my weigh in day,so that puts me at 250 from 330.I also joined Curves and had my first workout yesterday and it felt really good.I will try and walk on my treadmill the other 3 days and have a day for nothing.LOLEveryone is doing such wonderful jobs!!I still have a problem getting in all of my protein and water but I am working on it.

Hi everyone. I felt like I needed to get in the chat room. I was glad to hear that what I am going through is the same as what I am reading. I am snacking too much, too, and am struggling to stop it! I will go to the grocery store though and pick up some protein bars. The shakes are just too sweet for me and I pick on the Adkins Advantage Oats & Honey protein bar, which satisfys me. At 5 months post op I am down 88 pounds but keep fluxuating up and down 2 pounds. Even though I have been on this plateau for about a month, I am noticing all the sudden that my clothes are getting huge. I went from a size 24W to 18's and some 16's so I think when I go shopping this weekend I'll be buying 16's and 14's. I'll admit, I never thought I'd ever get back into a 14. I have about 45 more pounds to go. I don't know about you all, but this has entirely changed my life. It is 95% or more better then it was before surgery (on a scale of 0-100%.
