Hi all you 8/12 surgery folks, Just hitting our 5 month anniversary,I was just wondering how everyone was doing? Me, I FINALLY feel like a real human being after two major surgeries in 4 months. The Gallbladder surgery has enabled me to do simple things now, like DRINK WATER! I actually ate some chicken last week for the first time. I still have issues with food, and still some vomitting...BUT NOTHING like I was going through before. I have no hunger, and because of this, I have no desire to eat. I find myself back in my old habit of only eating once a day. The amount I eat is so miniscule, that I think I am actually harming myself instead of helping myself. I to those who can maintain a good eating schedule. I just have no desire to eat, and it frustrates me to try and force something in. As of today, I am less 85 lbs. I am a bit frustrated because I have been stuck here, and does not look like the scale is EVER gonna budge. I want so badly to hit the century club by our 6 month anniversary, but not sure if I will make it. I also find myself OBSESSED with weight loss and scales. No matter how hard I try, I can not stay away from them, and get on them twice a day. I absolutely have a fit if I gain one ounce. I now understand how anerexics obess. Sometimes I think I am just plain I am back into my life before WLS full swing. I am my different roles...with being heavily involved with Scouting. Cookie sales begin, and not only am I the service unit cookie chair, but also our troop cookie chair. We just held the annual father /daughter dance, which was just beautiful as well. I am the School store chair, as well as the yearbook chair..we are working on production to meet the March 14th deadline for submission. Kelli is still recovering from her surgery and doing well. All in all life is good, and I am for joy to be feeling more like me. Here is my weightloss photo journal for updated pics.
