Okay, the good news.... I have lost 108 pounds!!! The bad news is.... I've been stuck at 405 since before Christmas! The ugly.... my loose skin! LOL I am only eating about 800-1000 calories a day. And I always get in my protein. I need to focus on water and exercise again. I was doing really good with activity before Thanksgiving, but then I slacked off for the holidays. *~Amber~*

I hear ya girl! I had been between 222-225 since Christmas. Today I am 221.5 but who knows what that means!!! It is so frusterating and I really think there is not a lot we can do about it at this point. It will just come off when the body is ready again! Good that you have lost 108, I am only at 73! 294/221.5/150

You wil get there, MT, I promise. You have done awesome so far! And you were not at a high weight to start. Hang in there. Hugs, Denise P.S. I am not 10 lbs from goal, I am 30 lbs from goal! 10 would be nice, though!

Amber, Congratulations - you're doing great!! I know what you're saying about the skin - I put on a bathing suit the other day for the first time since the surgery and it was just horrifying. The fact that the suit itself was 4 sizes smaller did nothing to make me feel better about the fact that the skin from my thigh was hanging down over my knee cap Ah - the price we pay to be beautiful! As far as the loss, I have larned the hard way that you can't compare your success to those of others. There are three of us who all had surgery within one week of each other. One has lost over 100 lbs., one has lost 95 lbs. and I've lost 75 lbs. I was beating myself up over this, but had to let it go. Our health histories are much different and more importantly, our body shapes are much different - not to mention all of he other factors that impact the loss. I just have to tell myself each day (sometimes each hour) that if I keep doing the right things, the weight will come off. It's okay to be a slow loser, as long as I am losing! Have fun! Jen

Congratulations, Amber! You have lost so much weight that your body wants to stall for a bit. No worries; it will definitely start back up again! You are doing awesome! Hugs, Denise

Amber, Congratulations!! You're doing great...I bet you $$$ you're losing inches when you're not losing ###. I know what you mean about the extra skin....I do the ~~WAVE~~~ with my arms and I hate hate hate it. Maybe you should try adding a protein drink (if you aren't already doing it) and up your calories a little. I've heard that it takes more calories for metabolism to jump start and go into higher gear.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I am trying not to get too upset about the stalling. I understand my body thinks it's going to starve! LOL I do, however, need to get working on 64 oz of water a day and exercise again. Stall or no stall.... I want to be as healthy as possible! *~Amber~*
