What was your "WOW" moment this week?

Hi! My WOW moment was; I was at the mall last night with some of my friends and my mom heard there was a big sale. She came over and asked if I wanted anything (she knew my old clothes are starting to fall off!) So I left my friends for a sec and tried on some clothes. One sweater was so big I actually asked for a SMALLER SIZE!!! I have never done that before! A SMALLER SIZE!!! I couldn't believe it! As soon as I asked my mom I had to crack up laughing! I can't wait untill get to say it next time I go shopping! Loving the new me! Becca 389/316/170

My wow moment was this past friday night. I was getting ready for a girls night out. I seen a hubby's jeans on the bed and said I wonder. Well wonder no more LOL .. IT HAPPENED THEY FIT! I can button them all the way up and still breath ... Now I can tease him about getting into his pants!!

I had an even better WOW moment today. I went into the GAP today and asked about their jeans. The lady asked what size I said 16 please, she said no way maybe a 14. Well, I took back both. The 14 fit!! She said that I needed to try a 12 so I did, fit great in the legs and could almost button. So I bought both, will put the 12s in the drawer and try again soon. They were having a good sale. Can't resist a good sale at a pricey store that doesn't happen often esp when they are comfy jeans.

I know it's been awhile since this posted but I had to respond to the WOW moments. Great idea by the way! I was at the mall trying on a winter coat since I don't have one that fits this year. I found one I really liked and my husband said it looked great. I said " I wish I could find a mirror so I could see for myself". He pointed me in the direction of one and I started walking that way but never could find it. Finally he told me I had already passed it. I had looked right in it and didn't realize it was me and walked on by. I thought it was someone else!!!!! I don't know if that's a WOW moment or a DUH moment but it was a moment!!!! Kim 255/185/130

Hi, i had a wow moment, just a few days ago, i tried on some jeans that my step daughter gave me last year, size 18, they are the stretch material, but the ones that button and zip. I have not worn button jeans in 12 years, i tried them on just to see, and they fit, not only did they fit but they were too big. I decided to go to the store to try on the [pants to see what size I would wear. I always shop at Avenue, they have sizes 14-32. I found some cute pants i liked, in the stretch fabric, button up, the smallest size left was a 20 so i took them and tryied them on, but they were way too big, so i found a different pair and the smallest was an 18 they were too big, so i tried on the regular material jeans, in size 18 and they fit fine. I ended up getting a size 16 stretch non button up. this was definately a wow moment, since the last jeans I bought that buttoned up were a 26, and that was 12 years ago, so who knows what size i actually went up to. and tops were 32 or 4x-5x. now i am in a 22 top.... IM new to the August boards, altough Ive been visiting obesityhelp for over a year. Loving these WOW moments! My first Wow moment was when I bought my gown for the Mardi Gras Ball. I knew Id lost a lot of sizes so I started at a 24 trying them on. Last years dress was a size 30! Well 24, huge, 22 big, a 20 was perfect or so I thought. Ended up buying a size 19/20 dress! I couldnt believe it. Still Cant! My second wow moment was when we went to Mardi Gras last weekend and I got so many compliments on how good I looked. Then The next day got to see the pictures. I was actually like theres no way that is me! But it was and Im still in shock. I look at those pictures several times a day to make sure Im not dreaming! My pics from last year and this years mardi gras are in my profile. Love the difference so much that I had to put them in there! Tammy
