This week I haven't really had any Wow moments. But a couple of them I have had recently are that I now have a lap that my dog can actually sit on, I wore a pair of jeans for the first time since highschool and a dress I bought many years ago that I knew was too small now fits. Patty

Getting into smaller clothes can really make you feel great, can't it? Congrats on the milestones!!!

Ok, my WOW moment was actually this past Sunday. Back in September when I was just a month out I was at a local thrift store looking around when I found these incredibly small (to me) cute shorts...so I bought them as my goal shorts, hell why not..they were only $2! Well, as I was cleaning out my "too big" clothes I came across these shorts. Out of curiosity I tried them on. OMG! THEY FIT!!!! They buttoned, zipped and looked good! Too bad the weather is so crappy right now! I really expected them to still be too small! I looked at the tag and it read "30" what ever that means. But hell...they are small...and they are cute! Good idea Aimee...I needed to see this post especially after the morning I'm having (a combo of being sick, having no voice at all & obsessing about that #@$%*!~ number on the scale). Thanks Aimee.. Well, it wasn't really this week but my latest "WOW" moment was on Christmas Day. Visited with family and my 96yr old step-grandma was there. She's practically blind and said "is that Cori? You're shrinking!" LOL, was impressed she noticed with her sight limitations!

I had a WOW moment this evening.....................I was trying on old clothes and all my old suit jackets fit XL from New York and Company. And my favorite.....................I buttoned and zippered my old size 14 (New York and Company) Capris. Mind you they were really tight and not wearable (probably cut a little big) but still............I buttoned and zippered them. I was ecstatic! And my scale moved 4 pounds finally. Yahooooo! Everyone is doing so great, we have come such a long way! Congrats on seeing you collar bone! --Marianne

I moved the seat up in my car and still had room between me and the steering wheel. I rode the bike at the sports com for a whole mile and half. I can stand up alot longer than I used to be able to. There is so much more, but I'm sure you all know exactly what I'm talking about. SHEILA

For me, I was just trying to scratch my back and felt my shoulder blade. It absolutely amazes me how you forget how your body should feel until you do something simple like scratching your back and all of a sudden feel your body in a different way. I have lost a lot of weight in my top (back down to my bra size from high school, and can't wait for my bottom to catch up. If I stopped losing right now, this surgery still would have been worth it.
