What was your "WOW" moment this week?

I've noticed that a lot of us are really focused on the stalls and eating issues right now (myself included of course) so I thought I'd ask something fun and positive. Should I do this every week? What was your WOW moment this week? The moment that made you stop and say WOW, I am so glad I had surgery...or WOW, this really has changed me...etc You get the idea, right? Here's mine: I looked in a full sized mirror while getting dressed last night and was able to see my collar bone. I wasn't sucking in or in a weird position - it was just THERE! I don't think I've EVER been able to see my collar bone without sucking in! I was thrilled!! How about you guys? Aimée 300/245/173/145

Great idea, Aimée! Here's mine: I was sitting in my recliner reading a book to my 2-yr-old daughter and realized that she was sitting on the seat next to me, not on top of the arm of the chair like she used to (she didn't fit in the seat with me before--I took up the whole thing from armrest to armrest!). ---- Leslie 5'3" 282/203/135

See? It's the little things that really make you feel great sometimes. I had the same thing happen and I was tickled pink! I'll bet your daughter loves to be able to get close and cuddle up now, huh? Great job! Aimée

My wow moment for this week was actually being able to fasten my seat belt without choking! I've always been very steadfast about wearing my seatbelt but when I switched from a Jeep to a tiny Cavalier this time last year the new seatbelt didn't fit. But I decided to try it one day this week and it fits fine that made so happy It's great hearing everyones moments, this was a good idea, thanks! Shelley -91

Shelley - I am SO happy to hear that. Now you will feel safer driving as well. My husbands' first new car was a Cavalier and he still talks about it all the time, with dreamy eyes even. That is a WONDERFUL milestone! Aimée

My WOW moments all came today. Three seperate male friends gave me compliments. 1. Wow look at you skinny, I did not recognise you. 2. I don't need to ask how you are, You look fantastic. 3. And finally> you are just melting away. Slightly embaressed but just what I needed to brighten my wet and windy day.

Jackie - Wow! Don't you just love the new attention sometimes? Sometimes I don't know how to take it at first, then hours later, I'll be giddy as a school girl! Love it! Great work, keep 'em drooling Aimée

This was a fun post Aimee, thanks for doing it! Let's see....a WOW moment for me this week was getting some things out of the closet for our vacation. One of those things was a fanny pack that I wore a few years ago to Disney. I went to try it on without changing the belt at all and it was HUGE! It was at least 6 inches too long! Sometimes it takes moments like that to make me realize what's been happening. AND my husband recently tried to pick me up......he had quit trying for the past few years......and he did it! And he didn't even turn all red or look like he was having a stroke! LOL! yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah! :0) Mary Ann
