I usually can't see it. I have to compare pictures or have my shorts fall off to be reminded of my loss. Every few weeks, I'll lose several pounds at once and look in a mirror and "see" the loss. I'll feel pretty good and look in the mirror a lot for a day or two. But the "high" ends very quickly and my eyes/mind adjust to my image again and I go back to seeing what I perceive as the same old me. To anyone else, what I just wrote probably wouldn't make much sense. But I'm thinking you guys probably do understand what I mean. It's not just you, Denise.
