Hi! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't seem to get motivated enough to stick to this diet! So my friend (who had the same surgery) told me it might help if I set mini goals and rewards. I already did one BIG one. When I hit 50 pounds I got my hair styled and high lighted. I need some smaller (and much cheaper ) ideas. You can also send me some big ideas for my century mark and big accomplishments too! Thanx, Becca 389/327/170 (yay! 62 pounds!!!)

I set small goals for myself to help me stay motivated. I wanted to be down 80 pounds by Christmas and my next goal is to be down a 100 by my birthday. My reward for being down the 80 was that I could fit in a pair of my sisters jeans. My reward for being down a 100 will be a new outfit. I think its great to set small goals for yourself rather than one big one that seems unattainable. I also have a great motivator that my sister is getting married in April and alot of people who will be there havent seen me since my surgery so it will be nice to walk in there about 120 pounds lighter. Good luck Patty

I set little min-goals for myself and everytime I reach one I will buy myself something sexy. Like a new pair of panties, or a sexy lingerie looking camisole. I look for sales and stuff but I do like to reward myself. So far it has truly motivated me. Much Love, Shelli

Yes, I love the hair and highlights thing, but I also treat myself to a pedicure every 20 pounds or so. That's a big treat for me! When I get under 200 pounds, I am making plans to buy myself a full hour massage. I've had one before, but I was over 300 pounds at the time, and even though I enjoyed it----I was a bit embarrassed at being so big! Under 200 pounds, I think I would be much happier----and probably even "feel" the massage better! LOL ~Laura
