8/16 - 19 week check in
Hi there! Hope everyone had a fabulous Holiday. All I have to show for it is a 7 lb. gain. Too many carbs!!! Not enough protein!!! I'm kicking my butt back into gear TODAY!!!! Started out with a protein shake (which I haven't done in about 2 weeks), kicking up my water, and going to not eat much carbs or salt. I know some of the gain is water cause I had a lot of salty food.
Anyway...how did everyone fair over the holidays? Did you do as AWFUL as me???

Hope your Christmas was fabulous as well. I am having a horrible time keeping the snacking out of my day. And trying to keep away from the list that my surgeon gave me. But I still made it down 5 lbs for a total of 58 lbs. Hope I make it to my goal of 80 lbs down by our 6 month anniversary well see. Thanks so much for this post it keeps me accountable.

My Christmas was wonderful, very hectic though, and I'm glad it is all over with, now I just have to clean up the holiday mess at home and get all the presents put away. The whole snacking thing has been driving me nuts too! It's not that I can even eat that much if I snack on something, but it is usually carbs, and it's driving that scale in an upward motion. I'm trying very hard not to let it overtake me. Sounds like you are doing fabulous regardless! Have a great New Year's.
