Hi Peggy, You absolutely can still lose inches while the scales seem to stay still. I think many of us have an initial loss and then seem to "plateau" at around three weeks. Trust me, this is very temporary. Your body has a lot of adjusting to do. You will start losing weight again very soon. Just keep following your doctor's orders! Polly

Yes. Definitely! I have found that any time I hit a plateau with my weight, I continue losing inches everywhere else. It's always nice to see the numbers on the scales come down, but I am much more concerned about losing the mass off my body than the numbers on a scale. My plateaus are very common and sometimes last up to 3 weeks.....but always, I continue to shrink and my clothes get bigger. I'm on wardrobe #2 since post-op, and it's starting to get baggy now! (sigh) What a great problem to have, right? ~Laura
