Hi all! Well, this week has been a hell of a week for me. When I stepped on the scale sometime during the week last week, I was up 10 lbs. Well as of this morning, it was all gone thank goodness, plus an additional .6 lbs. So now I am at 77.6 lbs lost in 18 weeks. I have to keeping telling myself that I would have never lost this amount of weight in 4 months before, so I don't get myself frustrated! It seems to have slowed down now, and I was hoping to be 85 lbs. by Christmas, but I really don't think it is going to happen. I would have to lose 8.5 lbs by Saturday, which I guess it is possible, but I'm sure unlikely. If any of you had read my HELP ME post over the weekend, I have recovered from that, and I am now on my way to feeling better! How is everyone doing? Anyone having any struggles? JUDY 359/281.4/167? -77.6 lbs.

Well, as of this morning I am at 180 again, which would be a five pound gain from last week. I'm not freaking though, my body has been bouncing these 10 pounds around for over a month. I'm pretty certain I haven't *really* gained, but it's never fun to see a higher weight on the scale, you know? I did eat some sunflower seeds this weekend, which have a lot more salt than I'm used to, so I'm probably retaining water. BlAH! Nothing is fitting tight, so I should be good, right? (Do you see me trying to convince myself? SO funny!) Here's to hoping you all have a better loss than me this week (won't be hard!) -- and have a great holiday, too! Aimée

Judith I feel your pain. I was the same weight for 3 weeks. Hang in there!!! After your body does some getting used to the new weight the scale will move again. If you are anything like me it will be a big jump. My plateau ended this week with a 7 lb loss. I haven't lost that much in a week since the first surgery week. Christie Total loss 77 lbs.

Judy i know just how you feel, but believe me, it will get better. I was on steroids for two months for my breathing, and they are just evil! I gained 8 pounds and was stuck there the whole two months. thank God i am now off them, and as of today, i have lost 100 pounds, say hello to the newest member of the century club. i know exactly how frustrating it can be though. You will get there. I believe my loss is so high because of the complications i had . Hugs Linda 360/260/170

Linda, WOW is all I can say! 100 lbs. in 4 months! AMAZING!!! The scale is finally moving again, and I have lost 2.4 lbs since Monday. I'm now at 79.6 lbs. lost. I'm really hoping I can say over 80 on Christmas morning. I was hoping for 85 lbs by Christmas morning, and although I'm sure it is remotely possible, I'm not getting my hopes up! When I went into this I had said I wanted to be 285 lbs. by Christmas, and I made that a couple of weeks ago. I am now 279.6. I just can't believe it! My next goal is 100 lbs. by our 6 month mark on February 16th! Hopefully I'll make it. That's 20.4 lbs in the next 7 weeks or so. As long as I get there by my birthday on Feb. 27th I'll be extremely happy. If I exceed 100 lbs. by my birthday I'll be ecstatic! The surgeon's goal for me at my 1 year mark was 135 lbs., and his total goal for me was 150 lbs. My goal is 190-195 lbs. I'm really hoping I can do it!!! JUDY 359/279.6/167? -79.4 lbs

Judy, You're doing great! I'm down 59 pounds since 8/17, and can't wait to lose that last "pound" before Christmas. I set my goal at 60 by Christmas, and here I am....almost there! What a wonderful Christmas present! I've already received everything I could ever have wanted! I am kinda blue this week because I didn't get a job that I went to Chicago to interview for. (sigh) Disappointment is a hard pill to swallow, but my family and I are happy and healthy and we have a great "Plan B," which was our "Plan A" before this job announcement came along anyway. Good luck losing that last few pounds before Christmastime! ~Laura

Laura, Sounds like you are doing great! Sorry about the job. Everything happens for a reason. I'm sure God has a bigger and better plan for you down the road. Don't be discouraged! Good luck in losing that last lb. you have set for yourself! I know I won't hit 85 lbs., but I think I just might make 80! I was down 1 lb. this morning! JUDY 359/280.4/167? -78.6 lbs.
