So sorry I didn't get this out earlier this week. My sister was having her surgery on Monday. She did well, and is recovering quite nicely. Our 4 month mark is tomorrow!!!! Can you believe it? I'm at 77 lbs. lost right now (to be honest with you I have been jumping between 70 & 77 lbs all week, I don't know what is going on with me), I'll check in tomorrow with my 4 mos. mark loss! How is everyone doing? How are you feeling? Any regrets? For me, I'm feeling great except for a pulled back muscle from over doing the exercise, and I haven't had a regret at all through this whole journey!!! JUDY 359/282/167? -77 lbs.

Christie, I think I'm starting a plateu since I'm up and down 7 -10 lbs this whole week so far. ARGH!!! I too would have the surgery again in a heartbeat! I know you have to be frustrated with no weight loss for the last few weeks, cause I certainly am frustrated that it goes up and down the same weight for a week. I'm sure we will both be moving again soon! In the RIGHT direction! JUDY

Hey Judy Four months is just unbelievable to me. It honestly seems like yesterday that I pulled on my size 24's to go into surgery. Now, here I am 70 pounds lighter, size 14! I'm thrilled to death with my progress (especially now that I was able to get rid of those 5 pounds that just wouldn't go away last month)... You are doing great! I've lost 125 pounds since my first surgeon put me on a pre-op diet, I feel like a new person. Now I just need to fix my hip and I'll be GREAT. I was diagnosed with Transient Osteoporosis of the Hip a couple of weeks ago. Basically I can't exercise until it is cleared up or I run a high risk of a hip fracture. They don't think this happened because of the surgery but really aren't sure. So, I'm thrilled that I'm still losing even though I can't move very well. ALTHOUGH crutches really are a great work-out! I can't wait to hear how everyone else is doing. Is there anything you are noticing you are doing now that you didn't do before? I personally am more comfortable wearing tighter shirts, I never would have worn those 70 pounds ago! Aimée 300/245/175/145

Aimee, you have done fabulous! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to say I'm in 14s!!! For me as far as things I'm noticing I'm doing now that I didn't do before... 1. Exercise 2. Not feeling like I'm going to die after a go up a flight of steps 3. Wearing shorter skirts and not feeling like a cow 4. Fitting in chairs with arms and not feeling like I could possibly break the chair. 5. Moving quickly...before my arthritis was so bad I was a turtle in motion, people are noticing that I'm much quicker than I used to be (although right now I feel like my low back is going to bust out of my skin) That's all I can think of at the moment. Has anyone gotten their head hunger back yet? Mine is starting, and it is fierce! I've been eating a little more lately (and I can eat it, not getting sick) than I had been and it scares me half to death! I'm afraid I'm going to fail from this point on. JUDY

I am so thrilled with my surgery and results so far. It is so hard to believe that just 4 months ago I put on my 26's and 28's to go anywhere. WOW!!! I am now wearing jeans in 16 - 20 depending on the brand. And shirts in an XL. I bought a skirt from Old Navy in a size 22 and sent it back and got an 18. It is too big, too, and I tried it on over my jeans so I am thinking about a 14 . . what do you thinK? I find that when we are out on the town I don't want to sit. I want to dance or walk around. This has been hard because my hubby broke his ankle 6 weeks ago and is on crutches. But he don't mind me dancing with someone else. The other night one of our songs was playing so I just gave him a good old lap dance (LOL) - we kept it PG!!!!! Regrets - NOT A ONE AND WOULD DO THIS OVER AGAIN IN A HEART BEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know, we have a lot to be thankful for this year!!!!!!!!!!!! Love in Christ, Cyndi Pre-Op: 306 Today: 231 Loss: -75 lbs.

Way to go Cyndi!!!! Great Job! I feel like I'm losing a little slow since I started out so high. Although I'd have to say, I haven't been eating so well the last couple of weeks. I have to get myself back into gear! JUDY

Hiyah Judy I cant believe its been 4 months. Totally a blow away moment for me was shopping and bringing home a size 14W pair of jeans (used to be a 24W). So even though the pounds are slow -53 the inches on me are out of control. ***Would I do this again???*** You betcha in a heartbeat. I feel so much better and I haven't taken a nap since recovery. I used to be so lethargic. Eating is getting harder to control because nothing makes ill. I'll take that as a blessing in disquise. What I find the hardest is getting all my vitamins in before the end of the day. But its all worth it. Continued success to all Jackie 263/210/135 p.s. So glad your sister is doing well.

Christie, Congrats!! That's wonderful! Now I think I'm on one, I have been up and down the same 4 lbs all week, and now sit at 75 lbs., not 77 lbs. ARGH!!! I'm hoping it breaks by Christmas, cause I really want to say 80 lbs. by then, but I don't think it is going to happen. As long as I hit 100 lbs. by my birthday at the end of February I'll be happy, if I don't hit that by then, I don't know what I'm going to be feeling like! I want this OVER with!!!! Congrats on a great job!!! JUDY 359/282/284/167? -75 lbs.
