8/10 Check - In
Hi Michelle,
You and I are doing very similiar. I don't weigh in again officially until tomorrow when I see my dietician, as I only use her scale and my surgeon's (they have the same high-tech, real accurate scales) as my official weigh-ins. I did buy a scale for home use, and I will weigh myself on it in the morning so I can see how close it is to my dieticians scale.
Anyway, as of 11/29 when I saw my surgeon, I had lost exactly 57 lbs since surgeon on 8/11. As of 11/29, my weight was 175 lbs...I love saying that! I am so happy with my progress. Since January 2004, I have lost 93 lbs!
The scale I have at home says I have lost an additional four lbs since 11/29, putting me at 171 lbs, but we will see how accurate that is tomorrow.
We are doing awesome. I don't consider us slow, hon. Maybe not as fast as some, but that's okay. It is the end result that counts. Plus, I was considered a "lightweight" (that terms cracks me up) the day of surgery, weighing in at 232 lbs. Were you a lightweight, too?
Keep up the awesome work. I am hoping I hit the 160's tomorrow...I have this feeling that I am going to weigh either 169 or 170. I am so excited to find out!!!
Hugs,
Denise
