Frustrating plateau!!!!

I've lost 75 pounds, which I'm really happy about, but now I've been at this same weight for about 3 weeks. Not one more pound! Is this something I should be concerned about? I hit a little plateau (sp?) at 50 pounds too, but that one only lasted about a week and a half. I'm trying to change my routine (I'm really a creature of habit....even eat the same things for days in a row)...thought this might help. Anybody else having this problem? :0) Mary Ann

Plateauing is normal. I go through plateaus on and off too. It's our body adjusting. Try increasing your protien and water to jump start it and make sure you are having enough calories a day or your body goes into starvation mode. To jump start mine I also cut back for about 2 days and then go back to my higher calories. Patty

Thanks Patty! I like your idea of having two days of cut-back then going back to normal. I bet that will work for me too....I'll give it a try! Glad to know I'm not the only one tho! Thanks for replying! :0) Mary Ann

HI Brenda! Thanks....at least it's good to know there are other frustrated people out there! LOL! Hey, you're from Altoona....I know that town. I think there was a concert there recently that I really wanted to attend. Some friends of mine went but I couldn't go. Trace Adkins. Wasn't it there? Well....maybe when we all break out plateau's we should post about it so we know if this is a trend for sure! thanks for your post....and chin up to you too! hang in there! :0) Mary Ann
