hey Sunny, what was your starting BMI? 218 is not as heavy as most start at. I had initially gone in to my doc's office with a bmi under 40, weight was 230 (no medical comorbidies) and got denied for WLS. After a few months, and gaining so much weight (*sigh*) I ended up going to a consult again at 255 and was approved...I'm venting...lol. Anywho, congrats on being so close to goal, just curious what your starting BMI was. take care, norma G.

Well, I'm going to join in here since I had surgery on 8/31. I have lost 72 pounds. I still have a ways to go, I started at 317 and I am now 245 but being below 250 was exciting for me, and being 217 will be nice and then 199 will be great. I wish we had a Vitamin World nearby because I seem like I'm buying vitamins all the time, AND my husband is having open roux-en-y tomorrow as well, and he will need all the vitamins too before long. I don't mind though. I am so glad we are taking this journey together!! Take care all, Tracie

Hi everyone, I was a slow loser this week, I dropped a pound for a total of 54 pounds. I personally think I didn't eat enough this week, and I know I didn't behave with my water and protein either. Guess I am in a kinda slump. I will shoot for 3 pounds next week, wish me luck. Have a great week, Susan

Hey Janie..... .. maybe this will make you feel better......... I go to the GYM just about 5 times a week for the past 3 months..... BUT ....... I am holding at a total weight loss of just 37 pounds.! Between slow weight loss and many complications ....... > Now low potassiun and Magnessium and a new constricture! I am getting very frustrated........
