My starting weight was 220. I feel like I am losing slow, but my Dr. said I am doing good for a lower starting weight. I am really glad my sugar levels have been great. No more diabetic meds!!! I still really need to get in more protien, water and exercise. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lisa

Hey Lisa, From one slow loser to another----I am finally down 55 pounds! I had surgery a couple of weeks before you did on 8/17. I was always a little discouraged to read that other had lost more "weight," but I have been exercising regularly since 3 weeks post op at Curves for Women. I have built muscle mass and feel better than I ever have in my adult life! I have a whole new wardrobe---and feel like a million bucks when I walk down the street. It's a real kick to see people react to me when they haven't seen me in a while. They see my face, and then their eyes automatically drop to my middle and they look back up with astonishment! They cannot believe how different I look, and I feel the same way sometimes! You're doctor is correct about being a slow loser. They are always more concerned about how many INCHES you're losing than pounds. You just keep up the good work, and you'll reach your goal in no time at all! You have my support! Good luck to you! ~Laura in Alabama
