Pre Op Consult weight: 212.5 Starting: 202.5lbs Current: 166.9lbs Lost this week: 2.5lbs Lost overall: 35. I have been going to the gym at least 5 times a week for the past 3 months and am really getting dissapointed and depressed about the slow weight loss. Even with some serious complications that keep me on the stage 1 and 2 diet for many weeks I am not loosing as I thought I would have. Well I see my MD again next Monday for the 3 month ( 14 weeks) check up. My MD has been very happy with my progress, even though my glucose levels are begining to creep up and I am needing more and more daily insulins ........ I am also a bit discouraged as my arthroitis has become a problem and I can't take aspirin... AT ALL cause of the NEW ULCER. So it makes going to the gym a real pain. I am really hoping by Christmas ( week 17) these proplems will be HISTORY. MY Daughter is coming home and she does not know I did this...... It will be fun to see her face. My Hubby keeps telling me he sees a big differance. I guess that is what matters most. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YOU LOOSERS!

Congrats everyone. Glad to see everyone doing so well. I took my own food to dinner at Thanksgiving so that I would have no excuse to cheat. I did great. The scale finally moved again this week. I was 356 before surgery and now weigh in at 292. WHAhoo! Finally under 300! My labs have been great. Hgb A1C went from 6.5 to 5.2 in 8 weeks. Cholesterol from 235 to 153. Cut my blood pressure meds in half and deleted the lasix all together. Did not have to go for 3 month visit because I was doing so well. I see my primary doc on the 15th and hopefully cut back a few more medications. Good luck in this month to everyone. Pat B.
