I'm actually reporting in for my husband (of 4 days - we got married Monday). Yesterday he was 16 weeks post-op. He is down 150 lbs as of this morning. His pre-op weight was 437 lbs and now he is 287. He is losing very quickly which concerns me a bit but he seems to eat well (for a post-op, that is) and supplements with protein too. He is a tad anemic and is being monitored and started on iron. We set his goal weight at 220 or so. Not sure what the doctor's goal for him was. He is 6'5". He got cleared at 3 months post-op to workout but had some medical treatments on his legs (for lymphedema) going on and now is down to one treatment a week so he'll be hitting the gym this coming week. I think that'll be great for him to help build some muscle back up since I would assume that part of that 150 lbs is muscle too. This WLS has been a lifesaver for him. No more diabetic meds, no more HBP meds. I have my own consult this coming Wednesday. Good luck to everyone! Kathy
