Aug 30 - Weigh In
I had my surgery a day after you Aug 31, but I am gonna still join in. As of this morning I am down 46 lbs. I hate plateaus!!!!!!!! I only lost one pound last week but hey that's better than the two weeks that I didn't loose anything. I am also excited to be under 200 lbs ( even though it is only two pounds under) for the first time in years!!!!!!!! Congrats to you on your great progress !!!!

Hello all!
Only down 2 more pounds this week. That's been pretty much what it has been steady for the last 6 weeks though. So I am down a total of 49 lbs.
I havent been exercising and getting all my fluids, so I've only myself to blame.
Beginning weight of 306 day I went in....(309) when I left the hospital
Current weight of 257, and down at least 3 pant/shirt sizes.
This is my first time posting on the August board, but I'm glad to join in. Though, my surgery was on August 31st.
I have lost 61 pounds at this point. I am so excited about that!!
One month before surgery: -10 pounds
Total weight since 9/30/04: 71 pounds
Start weight 9/30/04: 327
Day of surgery: 317
Current weight: 256
Waving "HI" to everyone....
As of yesterday I am down 47 pounds. We are all doing GREATTTTTTTT
I have a question for you 8/30's
For a while there I thought my pouch was too big, like I could and did eat more than I should have, but the last few days, it feels like I can hardly eat anything without feeling it in the center of my chest, even water, especially the first thing in the morning seems to hang out in the center of my chest for a while. There is no pain involved, just mild pressure, and I do tend to burp more now. I am not sick, nor do I dump, just feel like I am always full to the top. Anyone else experiencing this?
Ever think being called a "loser" would be a good thing?
Hugs...Susan
Hi susan,
I am experiencing the same thing you mentioned. A few weeks ago, I thought I had streched my poor pouch or something because I was eating larger amounts than before, and tolerating everything I ate. Ofcourse, I didn't overeat as in the past, but compared to what I could consume after surgery, it was a lot (in my eyes). Then, this week and the end of last, I just feel like I don't want to eat hardly anything because of that feeling I feel, as if it's just sitting there...no pain, just pressure, as u mentioned. I have gotten nauseous and want to throw up, but can't/don't, just foamy/dry heaving...but, nevertheless, it's mainly just a pressure that bugs me to the point of wanting to get it out!
I've definitely cut down my food since I've felt that way and just taking it very easy....I've heard and friends have mentioned, that it is pretty normal, but such a pain
