I passed out!
Hey all,
I hope all is well with you. Well I had the most embarassing experience last night. I went to a concert with a friend. (A first for me since surgery) and I was having a blast. But then it started to feel so hot in there. then the sweat got really cold. And then the lights started to look so bright. Then then the next thing I know I am passed out on the floor. My friend walked me over to the steps and was totally freaked out. I told her I probably got dehydrated from the heat of the crowd. Then I couldn't help but laugh about it cause I fell right down to the floor when it happened. The wls journey is different everyday. It is truly a trip. lol
Much Love, Take Care,

Hey Shelli,
That happened to me....I didn't totally pass out, but when I go to concerts (have gone to about 3 since surgery), I remember to not push too much. Usually at concerts, I get crazy...jump around, sweating, etc..The first time I went, I felt week in my joint, legs, and just this weird feeling as if lights were getting dimmed and noise going down. We all have to be careful in not exerting ourselves too much, we've had MAJOR surgery!!! lol...that's funny because we never really see it as that, but in truth, that's exactly what WLS is! Anywho, keep hydrated, and know when to stop...I know I now do. When I feel too sweaty, or just a bit weak, I take a breather at concerts and at any other events, etc.
You're so right, this truly is a TRIP!
