8/30 Weigh in - Week 10
Another week, hope your week was filled with lowering scales and no nausea! Unfortunately, mine wasn't, but...it's all a learning process
Post your weigh in and keep us all informed of your progress. Remember to weigh yourself once a week, at about the same time of the day you always do, and post your results.
Weightloss this past week: -4lbs
Overall loss: -41lbs
I'm stubborn and still wearing my same clothes, just put on the belt on tighter so my pants won't fall off! Still not doing as much, if any, exercise as I should be *bad me*
Hope all are doing fabulous!
adios,
Norma G.
Hi Norma,
I also had surgery on the 30th. I'm down 42 pounds. Last week I had a field trip to Lane Bryant I tried on a pair of jeans size 14 and girl, watch out!!!! Okay so I didn't purchase I'm like you still holding on to same clothes. I think it's actually a waste of money to invest in clothes right now since we are at the beginning of this journey. I also get nausea but hey all things considered I know that we are doing great.
Marcia

Marcia I am glad you are getting better.
I only weigh once a month. I can become obsessed. I am down 43 lbs since my surgery on the 31st. And I'm down exactly 80 lbs since I first consulted with my doctor in January of 04'!! Sometimes I feel like it's a sllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwwwww process, but when I realize the stuff I can do now that I couldn't do a few months ago it's AMAZING!! I thank the Lord and my doctor (Garth Davis) every day for this surgery!!
Take care & have a blessed day,
Rhonda
Hi Norma;
My surgery date is 3 days earlier, August 27th, but No one checks for 27ers here so I'm gonna join in if you don't mind
Looks like we are all pretty much in the same ball field. I am down - 47 pounds since surgery. I can eat everything. No nausea, or dumping. My portions are still fairly small. I eat a little every couple of hours instead of the 3 meal deal. I get hungry too quick for that and if I get hungry I don'****ch how fast I eat at mealtime. Water is still an issue, and protien is pretty much in my food. I feel I get a good amount in my diet. I am fortunate that way. Great job on the weight loss people! Keep up the good work, and stay healthy.
