Back again

Hi everyone, Long time no post! I am back for a while I think. I have had some complications and a second surgery and another hospital stay after that. I spent more days in Oct in the hospital then out! I have a KCI Vac now on two open abdominal wounds to help them heal. I have been out of work since the beginning of August. So, now that I said all the bad stuff, lol, it is not the end of the world. I knew going in that there could be problems and to be prepared for them. I don't think anyone can really prepare for some of this. It has been very depressing for me and I feel a little "out there on my own" right now. Eating comes and goes on how well I do. I can eat most anything, just that some things sit better then others. Like I am a red meat person....I do better with that then anything. I find I only get sick if I eat too fast or don't chew properly. Some days it is harder then others to actually be able to get enough food in. Part of that is just adjustment and part is probably because I am still trying to heal. I am down almost 50 lbs since 8-17 which is a good thing. I made the comment on how much more I needed to lose to goal to someone today and they said there is no way I can lose that much and look healthy. So, here we go with the same comments pre-op of how well I carry my weight.......lol Does it ever end??? Well, I just haven't been around to give you guys encouragement and root on my fellow Augusteers, but wanted to say I read a lot of posts tonight and am so very proud of everyone's success!!
