Since my surgery, I have not bought even a pair of sox. My lovely daughter has bought me something new every couple weeks. Well today, I said "What the heck, I'm going shopping" Let me tell you, I went directly to "big girl" section. Old habit! Everything looked soooo large. Decided I would check out petite section. I tried on an 18 and low and behold, it fit! Then I tried on a large size sweat suit and it fit! I could not believe my eyes. What a wonderful feeling. I ended up not buying, but oh the wonderful feeling. My daughter has bought 18's, which I can wear, and all the way down to 14s, which I can't wear at this time. It was wonderful to try on smaller sizes in a store. Different than when my daughter brings me a sack of clothes. I am amazed!

Hi Marla! I am really happy for you! We are surgery sisters! I am down to sizes 18's (on the top) and 20's (on the bottom...for extra caboose!) I have not had a chance to go shopping for myself either but I am really going to enjoy it when I can! Have a great day! Bernice.................

Ain't it grand! I am so pleased with my "new self". As I know you are. I pulled a pair of winter pants out this morning, size 20, they were too big! Have a good day.

I have gone from 26/28 down to 18/20 and it is wonderful. Sizes very from brand to brand. In one store I could wear a 20, the next store an 18. I have some knit pants 22 that I still wear. Baggy, but what hte heck!

i went shopping last night... 6 different stores.... and finally found a pair of jeans that fit right.... 14 short... I did try on a 12 but not yet... still too tight.... The last time I was a size 13 was 20 years ago.....
