Hello my fellow surgery friends! How are you all doing? I am doing pretty good overall. It has been difficult to get all my protein in but I know this is the most important thing, so I am trying my best. As of last week, when I was exactly 8 weeks out, I had lost 37 lbs since surgery! WOOHOO! How are you all doing? What food are you eating? Any intolerences? I don't have any intolerences really, but have noticed that eggs aren't as good as they used to be! Other than that, I have been handling foods really well. Looking forward to reading your responses!!! When you post your loss, could you guys post your weight the date of surgery also? Thanks!! Hi. I don't have your surgery date.. but I haven't seen in 8/6'ers around. I don't have any intolerances, but my body can't handle too much milk. A glass is fine if I take it slow. I eat everything that my family eats, just 1/2 cup portions. My favorite thing is veggies! I hate pasta and bread, but I am in love with saltine crackers.. so I need to break that habbit! My experience has been different than most Augusteers I'm sure. On Sept. 11th I found out I was pregnant and on October 4th I lost the baby. That slowed down my weight loss a bit! Anyway.. that's my story.. thanks for letting me post even though we don't share the same day! Angelina day of surgery: 253 10 weeks post op: 211 total loss: -42

I had my surgery Aug. 9th. I don't really have too many food intolerances other than green beans, seafood and bread. I try hard to get my protien in too but it is hard. It seems impossible to get in everything you need to in one day. Weight date of sugery 330 Weight today 278 Total loss since surgery 52 Patty

Hi there, I am doing well. Eggs used to be good for me but know they make me gurgle and hurl! LOL! I eat lots of chili....I know it has carbs, but good carbs. I eat protein first. I never eat breads or rice or pasta. Here is my loss! Weight Date of Surgery: 294 Weight at 2 months post op: 249 Total loss since surgery: --45 Total loss since 8/02: --85

Hi Denise, I had my surgery on 8/10. I am officially down 52 lbs. and 21.5 inches. Today is my 10 weeks post op. I feel good. I can't do chicken or turkey but most everything else is ok. I stick to protein mainly. I love veggie burgers (1/2) and veggie chicken. That seems to stay down the best. Good luck, Charis Weight at surgery - 255 Weight at 10 weeks - 203 Total lost - 52 lbs Weight lost since Jan. 04 - 70 lbs 43 lbs til goal... 63 lbs til dream goal...
