Everybody is doing wonderfully! Everybody should be so proud! At my 10 week checkup on Tuesday I had lost 50.5 pounds since the morning of surgery. woohoo. It feels slow, but I am now recognizing that it is very fast and I am just impatient! Last year it took me 6 months to get 40 pounds off! My clothes are getting baggy - so now I am slowly switching over to the ones that got too small..... some of my favorites are really trying to stick around, and that is starting to look sloppy. I try on clothes everywhere I go - I got my booty into size 22 'classic' fit jeans! awesome, I wore 28 relaxed fit pre-op. But, I am not buying, unless it is on clearance. So I am probably almost set for next summer! I think I will 'hide' myself in these giant clothes and then emerge next spring as the hottest mama on the block! lol Thanks for listening! I feel extra connected to this branch of the OH family! Have a great weekend everybody! Nona 310/259.5/150

Hello Everyone! I've been in an internet funk and haven't posted since shortly after surgery. As of the 12th (10 weeks out) I am down 61 lbs! Just 13 more to lose until I'm half way to my goal weight! My BMI is down 10 points and I've lost 41% of the weight I want to lose. Ever since I got scoped on 8/30, I have not be able to take my meds regularly or get in the 64 oz. of water a day. Forget the protein! I just can't make myself eat that often. I do try though. This week I have a personal goal of at least 1 protein drink a day, at least 40 oz. of water a day, and getting my meds back on track. Hopefully, doing all of this will give me the energy to get my butt in the gym and start exercising (something else I haven't done). I was wearing 26/28 pants (tightly) and 26/28 shirts (or 28/30 if I wanted them a little baggy). I now wear 22/24 shirts and have managed to get into 18/20 and even a pair of 14/16 pants! Altogether, I've lost 40 inches, with 11.5 of it in my waist alone! I am also very thankful that I haven't lost anything in my breasts! Hopefully, the internet posting funk is gone and I'll be back with my WL buddies once more!

You are doing soooo good! It did take a long time before wls to loose a few pounds, but now, they come off so easy, so to speak. I am so proud for you. Keep up the good work.

Hi, guys. So good to see everyone doing well! I'm down 60 lb and eating everything that doesn't outrun me first. Here's today so far: b: 2 bacon strips, 1 egg, 1 sausage patty l: 2 oz roast pork loin with gravy, 2 bites of cooked apple & 2 bites of brussels sprouts s: Will be 1/2 cup fruit dinner will be cube steak, veggie & maybe a smidgen of pumpkin pie. I don't eat the crust. In between, I drink at least 60 oz water, crystal lite, decaf tea, etc. Sometimes I still get nausea, so I take Phenergan about once a day. I bought some new jeans--they are stretch top but they are size 18 W. Pretty good considering the last pants I bought were 26/28's. Good luck to us all! -joanne s

Hi Joanne, you are doing so good. I have not tried bacon. I have always loved it. Just not sure how my pouch will react. Couple more weeks and I just might. You must be doing something right, them pounds are coming off!
